On Facebook, people often "tag" others to take little surveys (like e-mail forwards). Today, a long-lost friend (who just found out about our loss, by the way) tagged me to take this survey. I'm not going to fill it out on Facebook, because honestly, what would it accomplish? It would just shock people, and I would just be inviting judgment--or pity. (I don't know which is worse.)

I'm glad you had somewhere to post your true responses. I just did this survey myself, and i'm ashamed to say it didn't occur to me how many people would read it and think of their own losses.
I received this survey. I didn't complete it, I never complete those surveys. Personally, I didn't like the "who did you tell first" question. My answer would set my in-laws over the edge!
All these surveys assume everyone's life is so neat and clean.
I would love to fill it out snarkily (is that a word?)
